Migration
Import supported SEO settings and content data into Airygen SEO, then verify the results before switching over fully.
Overview
The Migration page helps you move existing SEO work into Airygen SEO from supported plugins.
Admin path: Airygen SEO -> Migration
The current migration screen includes dedicated flows for Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and SEOPress. Each source opens a separate detail view so you can run the import in batches and handle settings, content data, and redirects as separate tasks.
What Can Be Migrated
Depending on the source plugin, Airygen SEO can import items such as:
- Post-level SEO titles and descriptions.
- Canonical URLs.
- Robots directives.
- Social overrides.
- Selected schema-related settings.
- Breadcrumbs-related settings.
- Site verification tokens.
- RSS feed signature settings.
- Redirect rules.
How to Use
- Open Airygen SEO -> Migration.
- Choose the source plugin you are migrating from and open its detail page.
- Start with the site settings import if you want your global defaults copied first.
- Run the post data import and let the progress continue until the remaining items are finished.
- Run redirect import when that option is available for the source plugin.
- Repeat the import area if some batches are still incomplete.
- Review several important posts, archive pages, and redirects on the live site before disabling the old plugin.
Check these items after migration:
- Imported titles and descriptions appear correctly in the editor and on the frontend.
- Imported redirects send visitors to the correct destination.
- Sitemap, schema, breadcrumbs, and social tags still reflect your expected setup.
- Verification tokens and RSS signature settings are present if you used them before.
Notes
Migration is designed to be careful rather than destructive. It imports data into Airygen SEO, tracks progress in batches, and does not remove the source plugin's data for you. Verify the imported results before disabling or uninstalling the previous SEO plugin.
