Generate structured outlines with heading depth, topic framing, tone, and keyword controls before you write the full article.
Overview
Content Blueprint creates a structured outline for a topic before you begin the full draft.
Admin path: Airygen SEO -> AI Assist -> Content Blueprint
This module is useful when you want a stronger article structure before writing, expanding, or assigning a piece of content.
Settings
The page is divided into Settings and Records.
Settings tab
- Language chooses the output language for generated outlines.
- Depth lets you choose H2 only or H2 + H3.
- Length lets you choose Basic (400 words), Standard (1000 words), Deep (1600 words), or Pillar (2200 words).
- Include keyword decides whether the focus keyphrase should be included in generated headings.
- Content type, Scenario, and Tone shape the writing angle and style.
The module also includes keyword target cards.
- Keyword target cards help define how often the keyword should appear in H1, H2, and H3.
- Targets are set separately for each content length profile.
Records tab
- Saved records let you review older blueprints.
- Records can include the keyword, generated title, target length, generated word count, and creation time.
- Old records can be deleted when they are no longer useful.
Editor Panel
In the editor, Content Blueprint helps you plan structure before writing the full article.
- You can confirm the topic and focus keyphrase for the current post.
- You can choose language, depth, length, content type, scenario, and tone before generating.
- The generated outline can be reviewed before you start drafting.
- The blueprint can be used for manual writing or as a starting point for Article Builder.
How to Use

- In Settings, choose the default Language, Depth, and Length your team should start from.

- Save the defaults and open the target post in the editor.
- Enter a clear topic and focus keyphrase, then open the Content Blueprint panel.
- Generate the outline and review whether the heading structure matches the page intent.
- Refine the structure before writing, or use it as the starting point for Article Builder.
- Return to the Records tab later if you want to compare with older saved blueprints.
Check these items after generation:
- The outline matches the search intent of the page.
- The heading depth is appropriate for the topic.
- Keyword placement feels natural instead of repetitive.
- The chosen length gives you a realistic structure for the article.
SEO Benefits
A better outline usually leads to better coverage. Content Blueprint helps you structure pages more clearly, reduce missed subtopics, and create content that is easier for readers and search engines to follow.
User Cases
Planning a competitive article before drafting
Before: A writer starts drafting too early and later realizes important subtopics are missing.
After: Content Blueprint creates a clearer outline first, which makes the final article easier to structure well.
Standardizing outlines across a team
Before: Different writers build very different article structures for similar topics.
After: Shared defaults for depth, tone, and keyword handling help the team create more consistent outline quality.
FAQ
Does Content Blueprint write the full article?
No. It creates the structure and outline. You can then write manually or continue with Article Builder.
When should I use H2 only instead of H2 + H3?
Use H2 only for simpler topics or shorter pieces. Use H2 + H3 when the article needs more detail and subtopic depth.
Do the keyword target cards force exact counts?
No. They guide generation behavior, but you should still review the outline and keep keyword usage natural.
