Article Builder

Turn a topic or outline into a longer draft, then bring the result back into the editor for review and refinement.

Overview

Article Builder generates a fuller article draft from your topic, editor content, or source material.

Admin path: Airygen SEO -> AI Assist -> Article Builder

This module is useful when you already know the direction of the page and want help producing a stronger first draft faster.

Settings

The page is divided into Settings and Records.

Settings tab

  • Language chooses the output language for generated drafts.
  • Article length target lets you choose Basic (400 words), Standard (1000 words), Deep (1600 words), or Pillar (2200 words).
  • Content type, Scenario, and Tone shape the draft style before generation.

Records tab

  • Saved records let you review older drafts.
  • Records can include the keyword, topic, target length, generated word count, and creation time.
  • Old drafts can be deleted when they are no longer useful.

Editor Panel

In the editor, Article Builder can build from different source types.

  • You can use the current editor content as the source.
  • You can paste custom source text when you want to generate from notes, research, or another draft.
  • You can set language, content type, scenario, tone, and target length before generating.
  • You can review the draft before applying it to the editor.
  • You can browse older records when you want to compare earlier drafts.

How to Use

  1. Open Airygen SEO -> AI Assist -> Article Builder.
  2. In Settings, choose the default Language, Article length target, Content type, Scenario, and Tone.
  3. Save the defaults and open the target post in the editor.
  4. In the Article Builder panel, choose whether the source should come from the current editor content or from custom source text that you paste into the panel.
  5. Set the generation options for this draft and generate the article.
  6. Read the draft carefully and compare it with the page goal, outline, and supporting facts before applying it.
  7. Apply the draft back into the editor only after you are satisfied with the direction.
  8. Use saved records when you want to compare earlier attempts before keeping the final version.
  9. Edit the result manually before publication.

Check these items after applying a draft:

  • Facts and claims are correct.
  • Headings and paragraphs still match the page goal.
  • Brand voice and compliance requirements are still respected.
  • The final draft has been reviewed by a human before publishing.

SEO Benefits

Article Builder speeds up early drafting and helps teams turn good outlines into fuller content more quickly. It is most useful when paired with manual review and a clear content plan.

User Cases

Expanding a good outline into a full draft

Before: A writer has a solid outline but still needs a faster way to produce the first full version of the article.

After: Article Builder turns that direction into a longer draft that can be reviewed and edited.

Turning research notes into a starting article

Before: A team has source notes, pasted research, or existing content fragments, but the first draft still takes too long to assemble.

After: The editor panel can use custom source text and generate a more complete first pass.

FAQ

Does Article Builder publish the post automatically?

No. It generates a draft for review inside the editor, and you still control the final save and publication.

When should I use current editor content instead of custom source text?

Use current editor content when the post already has useful material. Use custom source text when you want to generate from external notes, research, or another source.

Do I still need to edit the generated draft?

Yes. You should always fact-check, refine, and rewrite where needed before publishing.
